52 @ 52 - The Plan

In the past few years I've tried to either set goals to accomplish or start a new project on my birthday. This year I've decided to go for the ultimate challenge of doing 52 things for my 52nd year.  October 19 I will turn 52 and my plan is to work on 52 items from October 2011 to October 2012 and see how much I can accomplish.  There are 52 weeks in a year so I figure this is a good time to establish goals that I can accomplish on a weekly basis that add up to 52 things for the year.  I realize that I'm taking on a big challenge and sometimes life may get in the way of completing my plans but I also know that I achieve more when I challenge myself to do so.  So here it is, my challenge to myself for my 52nd year with a blog to track my progress.  My next post will outline the rules I'm setting for myself and will explain the plan for each one.
